Europe and Agriculture

Before the 14th century, Europe was a rural and agricultural society. People lived within a “manorial” economic system that defined their social role and status. During the middle ages, most economic activity in Western Europe was agriculture which used free peasant labor and coerced serf labor.

Today, the Europe Agricultural sector represents a tiny share of the EU's economy: according to Eurostat, Agriculture contributed €215.5 billion to the bloc's gross domestic product (GDP) in 2022. In relative terms, this means 1.4% of total GDP of the European Union, a proportion that has remained stable over the past 20 years.

For the above reason, Hightech Agriculum Pvt Limited has extended its operations to Europe, leveraging on its world class agricultural innovative interventions in partnership with Farmers across Europe to boost food production in the continent. The World in general needs to produce foods that are safe and functional through sustainable organic farming.
